Who we are
A youth-led foundation
SARA Foundation is a non-profit organisation working across Maharashtra to uplift communities through sustainable development initiatives. We work in the areas of education, healthcare, women and child development, environment conservation, agriculture, sports, and skill development to build a stronger and self-reliant society.
What sets us apart is who does the work. SARA is run by young people, and most of what we do — treks, assemblies, essay competitions, form-filling camps — is designed to give young people a role in their own district.
